Thanks to Laurie now Scoot and I have new addition, dock diving. We went to our first competition yesterday. Scoot had been off a small dock in a friends pond last Sunday and just loved it so I found a close competition to take him to yesterday. He had never seen a pool or a dock that high before, but it did not stop him at all he started squealing when he saw Jango get to jump and never looked back. He jumped in the 9' + on all jumps with his best being 9'5". I can see I need to get him jumping up not out, but for now we don't even have a stay. I just basically took him because he LOVES water and I figured with his attitude he would probably do it. Below are video clips of him and Jango and a couple of picutures. He took a second both times in Novice and considering him and Jango were competing against Labs, Goldens and BC's and were the only two little guys they did great!

Now I better let his coat dry out because he has been in the water a lot lately and he has a breed show next weekend..

Thanks so much for posting the videos Beth! I love the pictues of Scoot, especially the one where he is jumping up to take off! As you all can tell from Jango's video his second jump was much better, probably because of his rock steady stay he had on that one. I think I'm more proud of him staying than anything because that waiting on the line has been alot of work to attain!
We had a blast, like Beth said, and are totally addicted! There is nothing these little guys can't do if you go out and give them a chance. I can't think of another small breed (or large for that matter) that has so much versatility!
In Wave One Jango placed 7th in the Junior division with a jump of 10' 2" and Wave Two he was 1st in Novice with a 9' 10". They definately showed the big guys yesterday that they can hold there own against them!
