Congratulations to Frito and to his very talented handler,Darla Lacey for earning this last leg of AX title! Frito is an amazing agility dog and he is so in tuned with Darla. Needless to say I enjoy getting together with them to train and soak up as much by learning by example!

Give the Bandito an extra treat from Janie, Pency and Graham.

I don't think so Laurie. While I'd love to, there is a trial around here every weekend in October which means no travel and no hotel bills.

Thanks everyone for the nice words.

Frito and I are still really novice competitors since we've only been trialing since last October. But, Frito seems to enjoy the sport and forgives me for my mistakes Very Happy

We still have a lot of room for improvement, especially if we want to earn a MACH.

My bitch, Rea, will start competing this year. I took her to one show, but she just wasn't quite ready. Actually we had done Earthdog the weekend before and she was convinced there were rats somewhere so she ran all around the ring looking for them. Quite humbling!

But, I think she is ready now. Here is her run from an ASCA (Aust Shep Club) trial a couple of weekends ago. She didn't quaify, but I was so proud of her anyway for the improvement she showed:

And, this was about 8 weeks after whelping a puppy.

Congrats on your runs Darla! Looks like you guys are a nice team and the dogs are having fun.

Since the day I started competing in agility (about 9 years ago now...) I have never grown tired of how much fun I have with my dogs doing it.
