It's Official...we have our date

Ok folks it is official. We have our date approved for our National. It will be held September 4, 2010 in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. Hosted by the Association of Parson Russel Terrier Fanciers, the National breed club in Canada. There will also be an all terrier Specialty on Friday September 3rd hosted by the Atlantic Terrier Association and along with this 3 All Breed Shows, with the Halifax Kennel Club! 5 sets of points over 4 days, this is a chance to try to get a Canadian title in one 4 day weekend (It is Labor Day!).

I will try to have the premium list out by the end of the month. Once it is finished I will post a link. Our website also has the necessary forms to get you CKC number to enter the show. I would apply for a number as soon as possible. You can not enter without a number. http://aprtf.webs.com/

We have a great line up with Sally Yancey, Prestwick Parson Russell Terriers, Greensbro, NC USA judging the regular and non-regular classes. Our sweeps will be judged by Amanda Kelly Fwaggle TMT's and Toy Fox Terriers, Sackville, NS, Canada.

There will also be the Canadian Professional Handlers Association Gala and Awards dinner on the Friday night after the ATA show. If anyone is interested I can pass along Allison Alexander-Foley's info for tickets. She was reserving the club a few tables.

This is so exciting for us as this is our first official Canadian Kennel Club approved National. Believe me there has been a lot of work done by a small membership! I am working with some excellent people to organize this show. Lets make it a good one!
