Lucy was brought into the Pike Co KY shelter when they got a call saying a dog had been shot. The shelter director went out and found Lucy who was in the family way, and hereye had been shot out by gun shot. The bullet went through her eye and out behind her ear. She went into labor and had six healthy puppies who are now in loving homes. But Lucy needs a good home too! She is absolutely precious and would make someone a great friend. So please, if you have room in your heart and home for Lucy, please contact the shelter. The monster that did this has not been found. Her petfinder page is below with details and contact info.

Poor dog, people can be so cruel.
